Location: Bedminster Down School (near Bristol)
Contract: 37 hours per week. Term time only, plus all inset days and two additional weeks.

Bedminster Down School is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person, with a keen eye for detail, to join our school as a data and systems assistant on a full-time basis. Bedminster Down School is rated as good by Ofsted and our large support staff team play a vital role in ensuring that systems and processes run effectively and that every one of our students receives the very best education, care and support possible.
The successful candidate will be joining a small data and systems team, led by our Data and Systems Manager and overseen by the school’s Vice Principal. Our data and systems team is friendly, hardworking and highly skilled and their knowledge and experience is utilised to contribute to almost every area of the school, through implementing and improving systems and by providing important data to staff, parents and students. You will find that there are always new and interesting tasks and challenges in this post, but you will also be given the support and training that you need to develop as a data and systems professional and to become a true expert in the particular areas that you work.
The ideal candidate for this post will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and may have used a schools integrated management system like SIMS or Bromcom in the past. Most of all though, you will have a desire to learn, a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work through problems systematically and logically in order to find solutions.
