Location: Keynsham (near Bristol/Bath)
Contract: Full time (32.5hrs per week)
Term time only + 2 INSET days
Term: Fixed term until 31st July 2023
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant linked to a pupil with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small, supportive school with access to good training opportunities. Experience of working in a school is not essential. The role is to support a KS1 pupil and KS2 pupil with an EHC Plan in the classroom and at playtimes. We would want to appoint a flexible and dedicated professional with the willingness to learn new skills. Please see the Job Description/s Person Specification/s attached. You will be working alongside the class teacher to provide a high standard of support and will need to be able to plan, deliver and monitor work to meet the needs of their Education, Health and Care Plan, as well as adapting materials to support the pupil’s learning and development.

- Knowledge, understanding and experience of working with children who have communication and interaction difficulties
