Trust Catering Operations Manager

Salary: Scale 11 - SCP 41 £45,648 to SCP44 £48,784

Location: All schools in the Futura Learning partnership (around Bristol/Bath areas)

Contract: Full time, 40 hours per week, all year around plus all Inset days

Term: Permanent

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational Trust Catering Operations Manager to support the development and growth of Zest Catering; our in-house catering and hospitality service, part of our commercial services team.

The ideal candidate will have vast catering multisite experience within an educational or private sector catering environment.

The successful candidate will host a strong set of skills, knowledge and behaviours aligned to leading and running a comprehensive commercial and professional food and beverage operation, supporting the preparation of fresh food and the selling of hot and cold beverages to our pupils on a daily basis, whilst offering quality hospitality provision to school sites. Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are adhered to and maintained. The successful candidate will be able to effectively manage, lead and deliver a quality product, to pre plan and support a variety of catering requirements for our customers across our schools.

The successful candidate should hold a catering qualification and food hygiene certificate. Knowledge of COSHH and Allergy legislation is essential and should come with a commercial / financial operations background and successful track record of leading and managing teams and catering operations.

This role will suit someone who enjoys interacting with customers and a diverse team, plus someone who thrives in developing a provision that is an integral part of our pupils’ day.

The working hours are: 40hrs per week, all year round, plus all Inset days
