Communications and Administrative Assistant

Start: ASAP

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 7 - 8 (£20,092- £20,493 full-time salary)

(£9,331 - £9,517 actual pro-rata salary)

Location: Keynsham (near Bristol/Bath)

Contract: Part time 20 hrs per week (working pattern negotiable)

Term: Permanent, Term Time Only plus 6 days

We require an enthusiastic individual to provide high quality support to our Communications Officer and administrative support for communications systems and databases. The successful candidate will be quick to learn, confident in their use of IT and online systems, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. The individual will work closely with a range of support and administrative support staff and support the Communications Officer in providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.

Candidates must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be flexible in their approach to work, efficient and be able to manage a diverse workload and work to frequent deadlines. Experience of working in a school is desirable, but not essential; this would suit someone who already has experience of managing IT systems or producing marketing or communications materials. The successful candidate will be supporting a successful aspect of our communications strategy.
