  • Act as the Trust’s brand guardian, maintaining a consistent tone, identity and narrative
  • Oversee marketing and digital channels, including website, social media and campaigns
  • Create engaging, people-centred content that reflects the Trust’s culture, values and impact
  • Lead external communications and PR, including media engagement and stakeholder messaging
  • Support with reputation management and contribute to crisis communication planning.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to communicate priorities, change and key messages effectively
  • Lead and develop a small team, ensuring high-quality delivery and clear priorities
  • Use insight, data and feedback to continuously improve communications and engagement

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically and deliver practically, with the confidence to work across a complex organisation and influence at senior level.

You will have:

  • Significant experience in communications, engagement, marketing or PR
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Experience managing digital platforms, social media and content
  • The ability to translate strategy into clear, practical delivery
  • Strong relationship-building skills and confidence working with senior leaders
  • Experience supporting organisational change through effective communication
  • A collaborative and values-led approach, aligned to the Futura Way
