Cook (Maternity leave cover)

Salary: Grade 3 (SCP 5 to 6, £19,650 to £20,043 FTE per annum)

                                Actual Salary (£13,627 to £13,900 per annum)

Location: Wellsway School, Keynsham

Contract: Part-time, 30 hours per week

Term: Temporary, Fixed Term contract to cover maternity leave. Term Time Only + 5 INSET days

Futura Learning Partnership is a partnership of schools which span the Bristol - Keynsham - Bath area that are working together to provide a high quality educational experience for all students in their care and be a truly inclusive provider of 3-19 education in the area.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic cook to support the development and growth of Zest; the in-house catering and hospitality service within Futura Learning Partnership School, based at Wellsway School, Keynsham.

The ideal candidate will have catering experience within a busy café or education environment.

The key skills are that you can ensure a comprehensive and professional food and beverage operation, preparing fresh food and the selling of hot and cold beverages. Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are adhered too and maintained. The successful candidate will be able to effectively deliver a quality product, to pre plan and support a variety of catering requirements for the customers at both schools.

The successful candidate would ideally hold a catering qualification and food hygiene certificate. Knowledge of COSHH would be advantageous however training will be provided.

This role will suit someone who enjoys interacting with customer’s front of house and one who is interested in providing a good customer service.

This will be a temporary post working during the term time only to cover maternity leave, although occasional hours out of term, may be required with advance notification.
