The post of Director of People represents an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our trust at a pivotal point in our development. On March 1st 2023 we merged with Clevedon Learning Trust and are now responsible for 28 schools, located between Bath and Bridgwater. Our trust is now responsible for 12,000 children and young people and employs 1,500 staff.

This expansion has provided additional capacity and enabled us to develop our executive leadership team to include the significant new role of Director of People. The successful applicant will be a key member of the executive and will have the opportunity to develop our People Strategy and the practices that will deliver a high quality HR function across our schools, professional services teams and trading company.

If you share our passion for raising aspirations and increasing children’s life chances through education, and if you believe that you have the skills and expertise to make a significant contribution to the life and work of our trust, pleased consider applying to be our first Director of People.

We hope the information in the application pack and on our website will give you a good insight into the trust. Andrea Arlidge (Chief Executive) and Tim Howes (Chief Operating Officer) would be pleased to have an informal conversation with you, if that would be helpful. To book a call please  telephone Tor Manuel in our central office.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 21st May.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an initial one to one interview on Teams with our consultant, Mandy Coalter, on 25th or 26th May.

Final interviews will take place on 9th June.
