We are looking for a teacher with the enthusiasm to motivate and inspire students and is keen to make a significant contribution to the further development of our D&T department. If you are an innovative, dynamic and passionate teacher, we would welcome your application. Flexibility to teach across the range of Design and Technology specialisms at KS3 would be desirable. The willingness to teach one or more GCSE specialisms would be advantageous.

We provide curriculum opportunities for our students to begin to understand the impact that new and emerging technology has on our daily life and the wider world around us. We want to encourage our students to be knowledgeable of local and global issues and encourage them to be a positive force for environmental and sustainability change.

You must be a highly-organised individual who keeps track of your classes' strengths and weaknesses and takes ownership of their progress through the passionate delivery of carefully planned and engaging lessons. In doing so, you must embrace feedback and seek out opportunities to learn from those around you, in pursuit of being the best teacher you can be.

In return, we offer:

  •  A competitive salary
  •  A full and varied CPD programme offering teaching and leadership development for our staff
  •  An opportunity to work in a supportive team from whom you can learn, develop and grow
  •  Wider opportunities to be involved across the Futura Learning Partnership
  •  An energised and professional working environment
  •  Benefits include; pension scheme, discounted sports centre/gym membership, free wellbeing support & medical cover, free on-site parking and cycle to work scheme.
