Bridge Farm Primary School wish to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant to cover maternity leave and is expected to continue until August 2024 but could end on the earlier return/resignation of the post holder. The role will involve supporting children at school with their learning and the role would be suitable for someone who loves working with children and has experience in this through a previous role.
The Role
You will support children to engage in learning activities within the mainstream classroom, and outside of the classroom where needed. You will encourage them to take pride in their achievements, be confident in group participation, and in sharing ideas.
We are looking for:
A person who can build a strong rapport with children. You will be a positive role model for the children, supporting them in achieving their best. You will work with children to help them to engage in their learning, ensuring that they feel cared for and listened to. You will set boundaries and routine, and respond to the children’s needs with movement breaks or sensory time if necessary.
