Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Finance Assistant for Futura, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish.” We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact across our Trust.
As Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Processing invoices and purchase orders in line with Trust procedures
Creating and verifying new supplier accounts
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
Raising sales invoices and supporting debt collection
Supporting internal customers and maintaining financial controls
Contributing to continuous improvement and compliance with finance policies
Providing cover for finance colleagues and attending meetings as required
What You’ll Bring to Futura
Holds 5 GCSEs (grade C or above) including Maths and English (AAT part-qualified or equivalent desirable)
Has practical experience in a finance environment (education sector experience desirable)
Demonstrates strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
Is proficient in Excel and financial systems (e.g., PSF)
Shows commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and GDPR compliance
