Required for September 2023, an exceptional and inspiring leader to take on a unique role of leading IKB Academy. IKB Academy is a successful 14-19 STEM studio school (NOR 185) that shares a large site in Keynsham with Wellsway School, a 11-18 mixed comprehensive (NOR 1266).
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding school leader with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) to further their strategic leadership experience by taking IKB to the next level.
The successful candidate and will draw on existing strengths and have a proven track record, one that demonstrates significant school improvement over time in outcomes and performance. They will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to the IKB uniqueness agenda.
In addition, the post holder will have the opportunity to work closely with Wellsway School and be a key member of the campus senior leadership team. The Head of School will have significant whole school leadership opportunities across both schools; supporting colleagues and encouraging innovation will also be an important element of the role. Experience in successfully working with parents/carers and the wider community would also be welcome.

Futura Learning Partnership is a partnership of schools which span 5 local authority areas: Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Working together to provide a high quality educational experience for all students in their care and be a truly inclusive provider of 3-18 education in the area.
