Your Role in Building Brighter Futures

As a KS2 Class Teacher at Willowdown Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

Purpose of the role of a Class Teacher (see the JD/PS for accountabilities):

To carry out the professional duties of a teacher, in accordance with any directions reasonably given by the Headteacher.

  • Have qualified teacher status and successful completion of induction year.
  • Have good knowledge of the National Curriculum with a good understanding of Assessment for Learning practice.

  • Have a positive approach to school self-evaluation and an insistence on high standards
  • Demonstrate a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
