The Role

Four Acres Academy is looking to appoint a Reception class teacher who will be able to join our successful reception team under the EYFS lead. Our Early Years consists of a large team of committed teachers and practitioners who educate local children from the age of two. Our school ethos is centred around relationship building and promoting speaking and listening skills in our youngest children, preparing them for a successful transition to Keystage 1.

We are are looking for a full-time teacher, but would consider part time (min 3 days per week).


The Academy

Four Acres Academy is a 60 pupil entry primary school with capacity for 483 pupils aged 2-11 (including a 2 year old nursery provision with 108 places). Staff work in Key Stage group teams to collaboratively plan and deliver high quality lessons. All teachers are supported by teaching assistants and our support staff play a critical role in securing outstanding progress in pupils’ learning. We have amazing grounds, a forest school and great resources. In January 2018, Ofsted rated Four Acres Academy as Good in all areas.
