Futura Learning Partnership is a partnership of schools which span 5 local authority areas: Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Working together to provide a high quality educational experience for all students in their care and be a truly inclusive provider of 3-18 education in the area. We are a mixed MAT, comprising 6 secondary, 21 primary and a special school. We work in partnership with the Diocese of Bath and Wells, which brings considerable benefit to all our schools.
The Role
Four Acres Academy is looking to appoint a PPA teacher who will be able to join our successful team. We are looking for a part-time or full time teacher to deliver PPA lessons across the Academy. All of our classes have a teaching assistant assigned to them, and the successful candidate will be able to teach to their strengths e.g. delivering a certain subject across either Keystage 1 or 2 within the Academy. The school has a determination to improve the lives of our children and uses positive relationships effectively to deliver this ambition. Candidates will be expected to show how they are able to develop positive relationships with pupils and our committed staff.
The Academy
Four Acres Academy is a 60 pupil entry primary school with capacity for 483 pupils aged 2-11 (including a 2 year old nursery provision with 108 places). Staff work in Key Stage group teams to collaboratively plan and deliver high quality lessons. All teachers are supported by teaching assistants and our support staff play a critical role in securing outstanding progress in pupils’ learning. We have amazing grounds, a forest school and great resources. We have recently had an Ofsted inspection, which is unpublished, but we are pleased with the result.
