We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are ready to take on a new challenge in a highly rewarding specialist SEMH setting during a time when we are reshaping our future direction with high aspirations for all our children to achieve and reach their full potential. You will find a committed and hardworking team of teachers and fellow teaching assistants to work alongside you.
Aspire Academy is an all through provision which provides education to pupils aged 5-16 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH). We are situated in the BANES locality and benefit from nearby areas of natural beauty and extensive indoor and outdoor facilities offering ample opportunities for students to develop their skills in and outside of the classroom.
All of the students at Aspire have Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP) that identify SEMH as a primary need. Staff at Aspire are committed to providing an effective learning environment that aims to engage and inspire through lessons that take place in and out of the classroom.
In our classes the individual needs of the children are paramount and the staff have a deep understanding of each of the students in their class providing opportunities to learn in a variety of ways.
We are seeking additional teaching assistants to support the existing team.
