Are you looking for a new challenge and exciting opportunity?
This is an opportunity to join Four Acres Academy, a thriving, supportive school at the heart of the community. We are seeking a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic, supportive and dedicated team. Four Acres prides itself on its care, empathy and relationships with its pupils and wider community.
This was recognised in our recent Ofsted, which rated Personal Development as Outstanding. Parents and pupils alike acknowledge that the school goes ‘above and beyond’ for our pupils, and we are looking for a committed teaching assistant that will be able to support our school ethos and vision. We would encourage candidates to make an appointment to visit our caring school and have a look at our website/Facebook page for more information.
We need a dedicated and skilled person to provide general and SEN Support for our pupils. The role is predominantly classroom based, but includes delivering interventions to small groups of pupils, including phonics (Read-Write-Inc training would be an advantage, but can be provided), fine motor skills, reading and maths interventions and speech and language support. The post is 5 days per week, 8.30 am-3.30 pm.
Further information about the role will be discussed at interview.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a great deal of enthusiasm and can motivate and inspire all pupils to engage in learning
- Have excellent communication skills and build positive relationships with children and colleagues
- Be flexible, proactive and positive.
In return we offer:
- A competitive salary
- A full and varied CPD programme offering teaching and leadership development for our staff
- An opportunity to work in a supportive team from whom you can learn, develop and grow
- Wider opportunities to be involved across the Futura Learning Partnership
- An energised and professional working environment
Benefits include:
- Pension scheme
- Discounted sports centre/gym membership
- Free wellbeing support & medical cover
- Free on-site parking and cycle to work scheme.
