  • £12.18 - £12.38 hourly rate
  • £23,500 - £23,893 FTE, actual pro rata salary £17,497.49 - £17,790.11

Location: Keynsham (near Bristol/Bath)

Contract: Full time (32.5 hours per week), term time only + 2 INSET days

Term: Permanent

St John's are looking to appoint a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small, supportive school with access to good training opportunities. Whilst some experience would be preferable, we are also keen to hear from you if you are looking at beginning your career working in the primary school setting. The role will initially include supporting the academic and emotional development of our youngest pupils. Please see the Job Description/Person Specification attached. You will be working alongside the class teacher to provide a high standard of support for all pupils.

The successful candidate will be prepared to work hard and respond to the challenges of day to day school life and be committed to supporting the children achieve their best through an engaging and exciting curriculum. This role will include supporting children in the play environment where we encourage our children to experiment, learn, figure things out for themselves, collaborate with peers and take risks.

We would want to appoint a flexible and dedicated professional with the willingness to learn new skills.
