About the role

Barclay Academy, part of Future Academies, seeks an inspirational Teacher of History who is confident in their subject area, with the vision and drive to motivate and enthuse students.

The Humanities Department is a collaborative and experienced team, results at both GCSE and A Level are very strong and the department are passionate about embedding an academically rigorous curriculum and assessment model across key stages.

This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the school expanding significantly.

Applications are welcomed from NQTs, and also from those offering more experience.

We are developing an academic culture at Barclay Academy where the highest standards are expected of staff and students. It is a dynamic school, where students and staff are exceptionally well supported. Applicants are expected to be confident at delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4. There is also an opportunity to deliver A-level for applicants with prior experience.
