Salary: Regional Grade 5, £40,605 - £46,250, 36 hours per week, year round
Annual Leave: 30 days + 8 public holidays per year
This job will involve some out-of-hours working to attend events in the evenings and occasional weekends to which time off in lieu will be given.
Job Purpose
To lead on implementation of marketing and communications strategy; stakeholder engagement, including alumnae relations; event management and to ensure lead generation and key messaging at each stage of the admissions process.
Royal High Bath is a leading independent girls' day and boarding school, and part of the GDST network. We are looking for a highly organised, experienced Head of Marketing with an innate understanding of the marketing function in relation to a sales process; specifically responsible for running events and lead generation to ensure nurture of students and parents through the process of admissions. You will join a friendly and hard-working Marketing and Admissions team in a sustained programme of student recruitment focusing on Nursery, Prep, Senior and Sixth Form students, including both day and boarding. This job will involve some out-of-hours working to attend events in the evenings and occasional weekends.
The post holder will line manage the Marketing and Alumnae Officer and the Marketing and Events Assistant and will oversee our online and offline communication channels, driving content development of the school’s website, social media channels, internal communication and running an advertising schedule driving leads and enquiries, and consistent with the school’s vision and brand values.
The post holder will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to support fundraising and development campaigns, as well as outreach and public benefit activities undertaken by Royal High Bath – the role of Marketing will be crucial in the development of campaigns and sustained reporting and PR around fundraising activities.
About the School
Royal High Bath is an academically selective, independent day (3-18) and boarding (11-18) school for approximately 550 girls. Prep and Senior Schools are both situated on the northern side of Bath, enjoying commanding views of the city and with good access to the A46 and M4. 115 boarders aged 11-18 live on the senior site in two boarding houses. The Sixth Form is on the same site as the Senior School.
