Casual Lunchtime Supervisor

Grade 4, Pay Point 5 (£13.28 per hour)

6.25 hours per week | 38 weeks per year | Casual Contract

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are looking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Casual Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team at Glen Hills Primary School on an ad hoc basis, providing cover as and when required.

This is an important role within our school, helping to ensure that lunchtime is a safe, positive and enjoyable experience for all pupils. You will supervise children in the dining hall and playground, encourage positive behaviour, support pupils' wellbeing and help create a happy and inclusive environment during the lunch period.

The role will include:

  • Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and school premises during the lunch break
  • Encouraging safe, positive and inclusive play
  • Supporting pupils with social interaction and friendship building
  • Assisting children with minor issues and promoting independence
  • Responding appropriately to accidents and incidents and seeking support where required
  • Supporting the school's behaviour expectations and values
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils at all times
