Your opportunity

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant, to join our hardworking and dedicated staff team, to cover a period of maternity leave. They will play a key role in the support of a small group of children with special educational needs. The successful individual will support the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of the children. They will ideally have experience within education but more importantly need an excellent understand of how to motivate and support children to of all abilities to achieve their potential. 

About Pine Ridge and Lorraine Primary School

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Pine Ridge & Lorraine Primary School, our cluster includes the following other schools; Springfield Primary School, Hammond Junior School, Lightwater Village School & Cordwalles Junior School.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across this cluster, to share expertise and experience, ensuring all children in our schools receive an excellent education and reach their potential. It also provides opportunities for career progression across the cluster and gives you the chance to further your professional development.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Between £20,809 - £23,582

Pro Rata: Between £16,410 - £18,596.83

Hours of work: 33 hours per week, Monday-Friday for 39 weeks per year
