We are looking for someone to join our team on a permanent basis to work at the After School  club between 15.00 -18.15 in the afternoons, Monday - Friday

Your opportunity

To be responsible for the development and daily management of our Afterschool Care Provision providing a safe and caring environment in line with relevant national standards and guidance, where children aged 2-11 years of age can enjoy a range of play, learning and leisure activities.

To organise a daily routine that meets the emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs of the children.

To build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of the children.

Attend and participate in meetings with the leadership team to ensure the smooth running of the wraparound care.

The successful candidate should have an interest in the play needs of children and be able to participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts and indoor games; as well as being proactive, using their own initiative to differentiate activities to ensure full inclusion for all abilities and ages.  

They should also be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with parents/carers in a way that supports children and values parental involvement.

The Details

15.75 hours per week, (Monday - Friday 15.00 - 18.15) 39 weeks per year (Term time)
Salary: Associate 3  £7,715 - £9,051 actual
