We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Apprentice Office Administrator to join our hard working, friendly, dedicated team in the school office.
Are you leaving education and looking to continue your studies and earn a qualification ‘on the job’? Or perhaps you are a mature individual looking to return to the workplace after a career break, to learn new skills or have a change of career?
An opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Office Administrator to provide administrative support as a member of the school’s office team. This varied role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn all aspects within the department, developing their knowledge and skills. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the busy day to day school life and be a strong team player.
The successful candidate should have good communication and organisational skills with strong IT skills. Due to the nature of the post, they will need to be flexible in their work ethic and willing to help the rest of the team.
With support from the Office Team and an Independent Learning Support Tutor through our trusted provider, you will complete a fully funded apprenticeship course. The course will run for approximately 18 months. You will learn ‘on the job’ and have 20% dedicated ‘off the job’ study time.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you will be awarded a Level 3 in Business Administration, equivalent to 2 A Levels. There may be opportunities available within GLF once you have completed your qualification.

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm, 5 days a week (32.5 hours per week), 39 weeks of the year (term time plus 1 week)
Salary: £8000.00 (FTE)
Pro Rata: £6213.00
