We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, experienced Class Teacher, who has an ambition to lead on a subject across the school, to join our 'outstanding' Chestnut Park Primary School.
Your opportunity
We are looking for an experience and driven Class Teacher who has the ability to lead a core subject area, initially English subject leader.
You must have the desire and dedication to make a difference to our children and assist in the delivery of our creative and engaging curriculum. You will be part of a driven, creative and supportive team.
This position is not suitable for ECTs. Visits to the school are welcome. Please contact the school office and speak to Yvonne Elliott, who can assist you.

- An outstanding classroom teacher with high expectations for all groups of learners ?
- A teacher who is able to role model the teaching of English (Reading and Writing) across the school ?
- A teacher who has excellent English subject knowledge and/or do you have experience in leading teaching and learning using Jane Considine's “The Write Stuff “and “Hooked on Books” ?
- Willing to plan, lead and run staff training and developmental workshops for parents and carers ?
- A collaborative professional who is willing to lead a team as well as work successfully as part of a team at both school and trust level ?
- A person who would like to make a real difference in a fast paced London school ?
- An innovative, creative, determined and resilient teacher who puts children’s progress at the heart of everything you do ?
