We are seeking to appoint a Head of Department for English to join our supportive, dynamic and ambitious department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Department or for a dedicated and inspirational teacher looking for promotion. This role will be considered to be part of the Extended Senior Leadership Team for a candidate with relevant experience.
You will be highly motivated with the ability to inspirationally lead and manage a team of committed staff delivering English, Drama and Media Studies at GCSE level. You will have responsibility for leading rapid and sustainable improvement strategies designed to secure excellent outcomes and progression rates for all learners, promoting the highest standards in teaching, learning and assessment to maximise student achievement and progression.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of high-quality teaching with the ability to secure excellent outcomes.
