Your opportunity
We are looking for our ideal leader to establish systems and processes under the guidance of our SENDCo, developing our growing team of Learning Assistants to ensure that every child is provided with effective individual support, targeted interventions and are fully included within our amazing new school.
The successful candidate will also support the families and wider communities of Forge Wood Primary School ensuring excellent attendance and signposting to local services and support for the wellbeing of the child and wider family network.

Develop positive relationships with young children
Develop an understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the child with whom you are supporting
Stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour.
Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.
Be a confident and clear communicator with parents.
About Forge Wood Primary School
Our growing school within the Forge Wood development in Crawley, now has children on roll from Reception to Year 6. Our core purpose each day is to secure the highest standards of education for our pupils and to ensure that they receive the preparation they need for their futures, helping them build the resilience and character they need to make a success of their lives.

The Details
Salary: Associate 3 £21,800 FTE
Pro Rata: £10,419 (based on 20 hours a week)
Hours of work: 20 hours a week (ideally over 5 days a week),
Term Time - 39 weeks (includes inset days)
Start Date: September 2023
