About Cordwalles Junior School
Led by an executive leadership team, Cordwalles offers an exceptional provision for children between 7–11 years. The executive team work across three schools locally: Cordwalles Junior School and Pine Ridge and Lorraine Infant Schools, both of which have large nurseries. We see ourselves as a family of schools in the community, striving to be the best that we can for children between 2–11years and their families, knowing that by working together, we are stronger. We are committed to professional and career development and work closely with the GLF Teaching School to support staff with CPD, for example, NPQs. We host and mentor trainee teachers and NQTs, provide school-to-school support brokering our middle leaders and SLEs, and help to lead CPD across the Trust. We benefit from sharing outstanding resources and CPD across a wide range of GLF schools.
What we are looking for
- recent outstanding teaching experience across Key Stage 2
- a commitment to excellence and the maximising of academic and personal achievement for all children
- proven experience of leading a subject/s and of driving change
- ability to model positive attitudes and values, and uphold our school ethos with all stakeholders
