Merstham Park School is looking to appoint a conscientious and dedicated Lead Science Technician to provide technical and learning support to teaching staff and to our students. This role will be well suited for candidates who are looking to work with students to advise and guide them safely so that their learning in Science is safe and enjoyable.

What we are looking for
We are looking for applicants that meet the following criteria:
• Ability to plan and prioritise a range of regular and irregular tasks within specific deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow strict Health and Safety Regulations.
• Good knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, Outlook (training can be provided)

The Details
Start date: 1 September 2022
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent, Term Time Only
Working hours: 8.20 a.m. - 4.15 p.m. Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year
Pay Scale: Specialist, £22,500 – £31,000 FTE
Actual Annual Salary:
Pro-rata, for 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year £19,356 – £26,669
