An exciting opportunity has become available for a School Office Administrator  at Kilnwood Vale Primary School near Horsham.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic office administrator to join our friendly school office team at Kilnwood Vale Primary School. 

This is a varied role requiring a strong team player, who can offer a flexible approach to the demands of the busy school environment.

You will be required to provide a professional and friendly service to parents and visitors to our school, including dealing with queries and emails and using a variety of computer software and databases.

Your responsibilities will include processing school admissions and the management of children's medicine and first aid. 

There is the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills, through learning other aspects of the school office.

 Experience of working in a school office is desirable but not essential. 

What we are looking for

  • A strong team player, who can work on their own initiative
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills 
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to suit the needs and requirements of the role
  • Ability to remain professional, when handling confidential material 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Awareness of safeguarding and GDPR 
  • Good level IT skills
  • English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)

About Kilnwood Vale Primary School

We opened our doors to reception and nursery children for the first time in September 2019. Each year the school will increase its age range, adding an additional year group until it is an all through primary school in 2026. We are proud of our school and the amazing facilities, inside and outside the classroom that will allow us to deliver our exciting and enriching curriculum. The Details:

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm 

Term Time: 39 weeks per year (including INSET days). 

Salary: GLF Associate 2  salary range FTE £19,627 - £22,4000 (dependant on experience)

Start Date: ASAP
