Hammond School are looking to appoint an experienced part time office assistant to work within a busy and vibrant school office. You will be providing welcoming and friendly front of house cover and administrative support for the staff. An important part of the role is providing welfare support for our children.
About Hammond School
Rated as Good by OFSTED, Hammond School is a 3 form entry junior school serving the community of Lightwater and the surrounding villages. Hammond School is also a part of the Federation of Lightwater Village Schools, being partnered with the adjacent infant school and is an academy within GLF Schools Academy Trust. Through GLF, we have the benefit of sharing outstanding resources and practice with a number of other schools. We pride ourselves on the passion and dedication of our friendly staff and our wonderful pupils.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working within a busy and varied office environment
- Is able to remain calm and focussed under pressure
- Is competent with IT, including Word, Excel and email
- Has experience of school-based programmes including SIMS and Parentmail or has a willingness and aptitude to learn
- Is a confident and clear communicator
- Is a great team player with a positive outlook

The Details
Salary: GLF Associate 2 £18,000 FTE (£10,753 actual)
Hours of work: Part Time; term time only plus inset days (39 weeks). 25 hours per week to be spread over Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
