Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role or can demonstrate a keen interest in maintenance and DIY, and an awareness of Health and Safety. The successful candidate will work to ensure the security of the school buildings and health and safety compliance, carrying out a programme of maintenance work and monitoring the repair and maintenance work of others as directed by the Headteacher. As a key holder, the role will also include security of the school premises including all buildings and contents.
About Kilnwood Vale Primary School
We are a brand new two form entry primary school which opened its doors to reception and nursery children for the first time in September 2019. Each year the school will increase its age range, adding an additional year group until it is an all through primary school in 2026. We are proud of our school and the amazing facilities, inside and outside the classroom that will allow us to deliver our exciting and enriching curriculum. Start Date: Immediate (pending pre-employment checks)
Salary: GLF Associate 3, Point 1 FTE - £20,500, Actual - £17,083
Hours of work: Year Round (52 weeks), 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, split shift 7-10am and 3-6pm with flexibility to stay later if the need arises.
