Your opportunity

The Regional Finance Manager will work as part of the regional finance team, led by the Regional Finance Partner, to deliver an expert service to our schools, including:

  • managing the delivery of the monthly management reports
  • overseeing transactional processing within the academies
  • preparing and monitoring budgets 
  • liaising with school-based colleagues as required

This role will be working specifically with the schools in our West & Oxfordshire region (Camberley, Wokingham, Sunbury, Didcot and Banbury), and the successful candidate will be based in one of our regional offices in either Banbury or Camberley.

What we are looking for

  • AAT qualified and beyond or QBE with relevant experience
  • Experience of producing financial accounts using financial systems
  • Experience of working within the education or charity sector
  • Experience of working within a Finance Department
  • Experience of producing regular forecasts

The Details

Starting salary: Senior Specialist £30,000 FTE (to be pro-rata'd accordingly depending on working patterns)

Hours: Ideally we are looking for a candidate to work 36 hours a week over 43 weeks a year, however we would consider part time working arrangements, with a minimum of 30 hours a week over 43 weeks a year (term time plus 4 weeks)
