We are looking for committed individuals from the local community, and from all walks of life and backgrounds to join our Schools Standards Board. We are looking for those who can share their viewpoints, experience, expertise, skills and fresh ideas to enhance the opportunities for our children and families within the community.

Your opportunity

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to join one of our School Standards Board (SSB) at Cuddington Croft Primary School as a community member for a four-year period. As an SSB community member, you will contribute to and monitor the school’s development plan, which is focused on the key improvement priorities for the school. SSBs are also the Trust Board’s interface with key stakeholders: parents, staff and the community. You will be involved in gathering and responding to feedback from parents and staff, and developing and maintaining community links for the school.

SSB members provide regular feedback to the Trust Board on the performance of their school and the feedback from stakeholders, contributing to the overall improvement of the Trust. SSBs also have the opportunity to influence the strategy of the Trust as a whole.

Excellent training and support is provided and you don't need education experience.

About Cuddington Croft Primary School

Cuddington Croft is an amazing place. Its happy and the children have a deep love of learning, that shines out of them every day. A committed, inspiring staff backed up by an active and engaged parent body, ensures that all the children at Cuddington are given the best start in life.

We believe in a broad and balanced curriculum that will challenge all children to succeed. Sport plays a vital role in our school, and we are proud of the Platinum Sports mark that we have achieved this year. Our children are provided with a myriad of enrichment opportunities, which are above and beyond the curriculum. We are justifiably proud of this enriched offer and the positive impact that it has on the children.

As a school we are also working hard to teach the children the importance of how we live and the impact that this has on the world that we live in. We have recently applied for the bronze Eco mark and the installation of Solar Panels has really spurred this development on. Perhaps one day we will be generating more energy than we are actually using.

Cuddington is blessed with a great site which enables us to provide our children with lots of exciting opportunities. This is epitomised by the swimming pool which enables us to ensure that all children at Cuddington have a love of swimming. It also enables us to run the famous Cuddington Triathlon every summer.

Our SSB members are a valued part of the success of the school and if you feel that you would like to continue the schools journey as a member of the SSB please do contact the school and arrange a visit.
