Your opportunity

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic faculty technician, to provide general technician support to all areas of our faculty for D&T, PE & Dance.

You will be responsible for helping teachers with the organisation of resources and displays, maintaining stock levels, ensuring areas for work and storage are kept clean, as well as supporting students during practical cooking lessons.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a self-starter with the ability to plan and manage workload

• Be able to work alone or as part of a team

• Be competent in using Word & Excel

• Have a positive attitude, energy and commitment

• Have an interest in D&T, PE & Dance. A GCSE at Grade C or above (or an equivalent) in these subjects would be desirable

• Have a good standard of English and Maths (at least a GCSE grade C or equivalent)

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Associate 2 £18,000- £21,100

Pro Rata: Actual salary £4,732- £5,547

Hours of work: 11 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks). Working pattern to be discussed with candidates at interview.
