Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Contracted hours per week: 27 hours 5 minutes per week (8:40 - 3:20) 

Working weeks per year: 39 weeks

Contract type: Fixed Term until 31/08/2025

Pay Grade: 6 - starting salary £18,274 per annum

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. This role will have an expectation for whole class-based teaching (PPA Cover) 

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will:-

• Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities and delivering learning activities to the whole class in the absence of the teacher.

• have high expectations within the classroom setting through commitment to raising the standard of learning for all pupils.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards all aspects of their work.

• Have a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

• Work well as part of a team.
