We are now seeking an exceptional Compliance, Information Governance & Systems Manager to join our Central Team and play a vital role in strengthening the foundations that enable our schools to deliver on this promise.

About the role

This is a strategic and influential role at the heart of the Trust. Working closely with the Chief Finance & Operations Officer, you will provide assurance that the Trust meets statutory, regulatory and governance requirements, while also helping us work smarter, more efficiently and more securely.

You will:

• Lead Trust-wide compliance, risk and assurance processes

• Oversee information governance and data protection, working closely with the Trust’s Data Protection Officer

• Maintain robust systems for safeguarding compliance, including the Single Central Record

• Provide strategic oversight of systems, data and information management, identifying opportunities for rationalisation, integration and automation

• Act as the Trust’s Whistleblowing Officer, ensuring concerns are handled with integrity, confidentiality and care

You will bring:

• Experience in compliance, assurance, information governance or risk

• A sound understanding of UK GDPR and data protection principles

• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and professional judgement
