Hours:  37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (includes INSET days)

Are you a passionate Early Years Manager ready to inspire young learners and lead a great team? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join Little Learners at Longford Park Primary Academy, supporting children aged 2–4 years in a vibrant and engaging environment. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a committed and professional team focused on delivering outstanding early years education through creativity, exploration, and play. 

🌱 About the Role 

In this role, you will: 

 ✅ Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding childcare and early years education

✅ Create a stimulating, creative and nurturing environment where children can flourish

✅ Drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest standards of quality, safeguarding and care

✅ Work in partnership with parents, carers and external professionals to support every child's development

✅ Mentor, develop and empower staff, building a team of highly skilled early years practitioners

✅ Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the nursery

✅ Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety standards

We are looking for someone who:

🌱 Has proven leadership experience in an Early Years setting

🌱 Can motivate and develop staff to achieve excellence

🌱 Builds positive relationships with families and stakeholders

🌱 Is organised, proactive and committed to continuous improvement

🌱 Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework, safeguarding and Ofsted expectations

 🎯 What We’re Looking For 

Essential: 

• ✅ Approved qualification at Level 3 or above - Early Years Educator Status  

• ✅ Suitable qualification in Maths 

• ✅ Minimum of 2  year’s experience  in an Early Years setting  ideally as Manager or deputy Manager or equivalent responsible role. 

• ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills 

• ✅ A passion for learning through play and child development
