We are looking to appoint an Afternoon Cleaner. The successful candidate will work alongside our contract cleaners and will work 5 hours per day from 1pm – 6pm, Monday-Friday, reporting to the Caretaker and Office Manager.
Experience in this field of work would be an advantage, particularly working in schools.
The postholder will assist with cleaning all areas of the site, such as classrooms, toilets, the school hall and any other areas as directed including external areas. They will also be responsible for the replenishment of janitorial supplies such as toilet roll, soap, etc
This role will be term time plus 2 additional weeks. One week to be worked at the end of the summer holidays and the other to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Hours can be varied during the school holidays to cover the equivalent of 5 hours per day.
Salary: GST Grade B1 £17833pa FTE, actual salary £11098pa
25 hours per week, 41 weeks per year.
