We are looking to recruit a KS1 class teacher to join our caring and enthusiastic team. Our Christian values are at the heart of everything we do. Puttenham is a small village school located in beautiful surroundings. We are currently looking for a class teacher to join our small team for one year as we transition from four classes to one.
We are looking for someone who:
· embodies our values and vision;
· inspires and motivates children through well-planned and engaging teaching;
· is caring and committed to meeting the needs of the children;
· can demonstrate excellent classroom practice, behaviour management strategies and an understanding of the class teacher role;
· has an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum, planning and assessment requirements for Key Stage 1;
· has an excellent understanding of early reading (phonics) and maths;
· will work well as a member of a small team
· is fully committed to the principles of the KS1 and EYFS and outdoor learning
