The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach AS and A Level Biology, as well as on the WJEC Level 3 Medical Science Qualification

  • Hourly paid, up to 37 hours per week
  • Fixed term until 31st December 2025
  • £17.53 - £34.51 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
  • Gorseinon Campus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a team to develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year.
  • Ensure excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College.
  • Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.

About you:

  • Possess a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
  • Able to demonstrate successful experience of teaching A Level Biology in a post-16 setting.
  • A very confident communicator and committed individual who can manage and inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a team player

Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £25,371 - £49,934 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
