The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual to teach AS and A Level Biology, as well as on the WJEC Level 3 Medical Science Qualification
- Hourly paid, up to 37 hours per week
- Fixed term until 31st December 2025
- £17.53 - £34.51 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
- Gorseinon Campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team to develop and employ a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
- Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback throughout the academic year.
- Ensure excellence in teaching and learning is a key priority for the College.
- Make a full contribution to team meetings and have a positive impact on the overall quality of this subject area.
About you:
- Possess a relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one.
- Able to demonstrate successful experience of teaching A Level Biology in a post-16 setting.
- A very confident communicator and committed individual who can manage and inspire learners of all abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills and a team player
