Greenmeadow Primary School is looking to appoint a hard-working and dedicated cleaner to join our established friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a member of our Site Team ensuring that our school premises are kept clean and tidy providing a safe environment for our children to develop and learn. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of our Site Manager and will receive all relevant training. Duties include ensuring classrooms are clean and tidy; halls, corridors and other areas provide a safe, clean and welcoming environment, and all bathroom areas are clean and hygienic.
Other duties may include on occasions unlocking the building at the start of each day ensuring that the building is securely opened or locking the building at the end of each day ensuring all lights are switched off, windows closed and all doors and gates securely locked. This would be additional hours.
Hours of work: 12.5 hours per week (6:15am – 8:45am Monday to Friday or 3:30-6:00 Monday to Thursday and 1:30-4:00 Friday)
Working weeks: 40 weeks per year (term-time including TD days plus 1 week in school holidays)
Pay scale : J - £12.28 per hour
Required from: July 7th 2025
