Yattendon School is seeking to appoint an exceptional, visionary, and inspiring school leader to join our senior leadership team as Deputy Headteacher. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the next stage of our school’s development within a thriving three‑form entry, co‑educational junior school in Horley. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, committed to excellence, and eager to make a lasting impact on our school community.

In addition, you will:

  • Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Have the ability to lead an inclusive school community, with a clear commitment to meeting the needs of all learners
  • Support the leadership team establish and sustain the school and wider Multi Academy Trust’s ethos and strategic direction, working in close partnership with Trust leadership, governors and the wider school community
  • Uphold ambitious, inclusive and progressive educational standards, with a strong focus on child development and wellbeing
  • Have the commitment, resilience and vision to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of children
