Teacher of Science, TMSP or UPS plus fringe allowance

Guildford County is an outstanding school seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join a highly successful department to teach up to and including A Level. Science is a popular choice with an average of 70% of students achieving 5+ at GCSE and 75% A*-B at A-level across the sciences with many students progressing to read science at University. This is an exciting time to join Guildford County as our Science department have been selected to lead work with the Surrey Science Learning Partnership and BP Enthuse project across a number of Surrey schools.
We are looking for a Teacher of Science who is committed to raising standards at all levels; delivering excellent lessons and enthusing pupils through their passion for teaching. We pride ourselves on our strong team ethos; we have high staff retention which we believe is due to the friendly, hardworking and supportive team who believe in providing the best opportunities for our students. We welcome applications from NQTs and actively support new teachers with an established and extensive NQT programme.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills and demonstrate the enthusiasm to contribute to all other aspects of school life.
