Sports Community and Lettings Assistant
Hours: Monday – Friday, from 5pm
Salary: PS3, £17,663 - £18,607 (£9.41 - £9.91 per hour)
Starting date: November 2020

We are looking for a enthusiastic and personable individual to work in a new role as a Premises and Sports lettings assistant to be the first point of contact for our after school lettings and Sports clubs. The person would need to be flexible in the working hours to suit the current Covid restrictions, and this could be further discussed at interview. In the fullness of time we would expect this to develop into a 20 hour post (Covid dependant). We believe in providing a high level of service to our visitors and the successful candidate would be expected to develop and maintain this requirement. A broad description (not exhaustive) of responsibilities would include:
- Setting up Sports equipment in preparation for a Sports Club.
- Greeting at visitors at our Sports Centre reception and advising them where necessary.
- Ensuring that respect for our facility is maintained during lettings
- Being on call during core hours
- Ensuring any other lettings within the Main School are equally attended to.
- Maintaining a signing in book.
- Giving a brief induction to any new or unsure lettings personnel.”
Saturday lettings assistant to work in our busy and vibrant school. Core responsibilities include meeting and greeting our hirers, being on hand to aid and assist in providing information and help (full training will be given in this respect, regarding our school). We have strong working relationships with our hirers and we nurture these through the level of service we provide. We have a Premises Team who you could call on should the need arise, but the role is very autonomous once established.
There may be opportunities to work additional hours during the school holidays.
