Do you want to work with inquisitive students and collaborative staff? Here is an exceptional opportunity to take the next step in your career in a positive and exciting environment.
Great Western Academy opened in brand new, state-of-the-art facilities in North Swindon in September 2018. The Academy is heavily oversubscribed in years 7, 8 and 9 and our first cohort of Year 12 students formed our new Sixth Form in September 2019. We are seeking an organised and resourceful technician to support our Lead Science Technician and Science teachers to help ensure that all students make fantastic progress in Science from day one.
Great Western Academy aims to radically improve the life chances of every student who attends. We will use our brand-new building and state-of-the-art facilities to help achieve this, but it will be a fantastic team of new staff who will turn our vision into reality. If you have the ability to contribute to our vision of achievement, care and excellence for all then we would be delighted to hear from you.
The successful candidate will support our Lead Science Technician and Science teachers' day to day. There is flexibility on the hours worked for this role and there is the potential to grow the role as the Academy expands.
The salary for the role will reflect the experience and expertise which the successful candidates can bring.
