12.5 hours per week, 11.30am-2.00pm, Mondays to Fridays, term time only (38 weeks).
£8,212 - £8,688 actual salary. (Plus an annual First Aid Allowance)
We are seeking to appoint a confident, caring and organised person to join our team in the role of Lunchtime First Aider.
This role will require the applicant to assess the first aid needs of pupils (and staff and/or visitors as needed) and administer frontline First Aid and maintain the relevant records and reports in line with school policy.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering either first aid at work and/or paediatric first aid. They will demonstrate a positive and sensitive attitude, patience when dealing with children, the ability to remain calm and the ability to liaise positively with staff and pupils.
The role may also incorporate a variety of Midday Supervisor duties at times. This could include supervising the dining hall, wiping tables, cleaning away plates, encouraging children to eat their lunch and supervising pupils in the playground and/or classrooms.

We are looking for a practitioner who:
- Has at least five GCSEs Grades 9-4/A* to C, or equivalent, including English and mathematics.
- Holds a First Aid at Work and/or Paediatric First Aid qualification (or, if this has lapsed, be prepared to achieve this within a timeframe specified by the school in order to fulfil the role).
