Hambrook Primary School is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Acting Headteacher to lead our happy and high-performing school during the maternity leave of our current Headteacher. This is a fantastic professional development opportunity, particularly for a current Deputy Headteacher or senior leader who is ready to take on further leadership experience in a highly supportive environment.
We are ideally looking for the successful candidate to start on 9th March 2026 but we can be flexible on this start date for the right candidate.
This role provides the opportunity to work alongside a skilled and collaborative staff team, with the full support of an experienced Governing Body and leadership colleagues. It is an excellent opportunity to develop confidence and experience in headship, while building on the strong foundations already in place.
