Lightwater Village Infant School and Hammond Junior School (part of GLF schools) are looking for a new substantive Headteacher to join them in September 2024.

Lightwater Village School (two-form entry infant with Nursery) and Hammond Junior School (two-form entry) seek to recruit an outstanding leader who will understand, inspire and be proud to represent the school community.

We are looking for an exceptional professional who can innovatively guide, support and challenge not only the two schools in Lightwater, but also have a significant impact within the group of schools in the cluster and more widely in the Trust.

About Hammond and Lightwater Schools

Both schools stand at the heart of the village community of Lightwater. They offer an outstanding start to education for children from Nursery to Year 6, consistently achieving excellence, yet also engaging children in imaginative and exciting curriculum whereby learning comes alive.

The schools sit within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Lightwater Village School and Hammond Junior School, the cluster includes the following other schools; Springfield, Cordwalles, Pine Ridge and Lorraine.
