Job Title: Administration Assistant Level 1

Actual Annual Salary: £9,237 - £10,068 Based on hours and working weeks

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,941 - £28,275 (CLF Grade B) Based on Full Time hours, All Year Round.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part-Time, 15 hours per week, Term Time Only (plus INSET days & 5 additional days)

Location: Redfield, Bristol

Additional role info:  3 hours per day, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week). The preferred hours are 09:30am – 12:30pm. However, hours can be flexible within the working day

We are looking for a Part-Time Administration Assistant (Level 1) to join our friendly and professional team at the CLF Institute. You’ll be one of ten administrators supporting the delivery of Boolean Maths Hub and Five Counties courses, as well as helping to ensure the smooth running of our building, which is home to 120 SCITT trainees.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll play a key part in supporting our staff, trainees, and visitors, helping to create a welcoming and efficient environment.

About you:

You will:

  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, document preparation, and managing supplies.
  • Support the organisation of training events, meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate records using systems such as Microsoft Office, ect.
  • Assist with communications, including emails, letters, and internal updates.
  • Help ensure the smooth running of the CLF Institute’s operations, contributing to a positive and professional environment.
  • Uphold safeguarding protocols and ensure confidentiality at all times.
