Job Title: Part-time Leisure Attendant

Actual Annual Salary: £2,579 - £2,676 (Based on hours and working weeks), £12.37 – £12.83 per hour

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £23,864 - £24,755 (CLF Grade Aii). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part-time, 4 hours per week, likely to be Saturdays, however some flexibility may be required.

We are looking for a Leisure Attendant to join our supportive and talented team at Hanham Woods Academy.  The successful applicant will become a member of the CLF Leisure and Lettings team. 

To be successful in the post, we are looking for a Leisure Attendant who will ensure the safety of those using or hiring the academy's facilities outside of school hours. We hire Sports Halls, Grass pitches, All weather pitches, Dance Studios and more to a range of customers from the local community.  The Leisure Attendant will provide all visitors with a friendly and positive experience delivering effective customer service and maintaining safe and efficient facilities through supervision and high standards of housekeeping.    

About you:

  • Appropriate first aid qualification or willingness to undertake training (where relevant)
  • Able to learn, understand and apply relevant working processes and associated systems. 
  • Able to work well within a team environment but also capable of using own initiative. 
  • Able to work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children and young people.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision but within set guidelines.
